Pour old water into houseplants.

Have houseplants?  Have old glasses or pet bowls of water sitting around?  Dump it into the plants!

Every morning I dump the water that is left in my pets’ water bowls from the day before into my houseplants.  Sometimes our house looks like the house from the movie Signs with several half finished glasses of water sitting everywhere.  Those get dumped in the houseplants too.  The water that is left over from boiling corn or potatoes is used to water the one potted plant on our back deck that the sprinkler doesn’t reach.
