Though I try to pay as many bills online as possible, I still get some bills in the mail. The bills that come in the mail are usually from companies that we’ve hired to do work on the house that we haven’t paid the day that the job was completed. Also, healthcare bills and statements.
Bills that arrive in the mail usually come with an envelope for you to insert the stub from your statement. You can reuse these envelopes for other things you need to mail if you discover that you can pay these bills online. Just write the address to the left of the window and make sure none of your personal information is showing through the window.
I haven’t bought envelopes in years (besides the ones that come with birthday cards) because I always reuse these.
